Roadshows to provide advice for exporters
BUSINESSES
in Fife are being encouraged to attend roadshows for exporters,
which are being delivered by Business Gateway International and
organized by Fife Chamber of Commerce.
The
roadshows are designed to help local exporters better understand
available opportunities in international trade and will give advice
on how to get started in international markets.
The
events are available to all businesses in Scotland and will be held
in Fife, Edinburgh and Stirling, running from February 26-28.
Businesses
only need to attend one roadshow, as all will contain the same
information.
Ken
Lofthouse, from Export Development Training Associates, will
discuss why companies should consider exporting.
A
representative from the Royal Bank of Scotland will cover finance.
William
Tenney, from Denholm Forwarding, will discuss distribution and
Murdo Beaton, from Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, will offer advice
on customs and excise.
The
events will take place at the Old Course Hotel, St Andrews, on
February 26, Scottish Enterprise Forth Valley, Stirling, on
February 27 and the Dakota Hotel, near the Forth Road Bridge, on
February 28.
To
register call Jacqui Finlay at Fife Chamber of Commerce on 01592
201932.
