CARNEGIE COLLEGE’S HIGH STANDARD OF TRAINING RECOGNISED BY SCOTTISH CARE

Carnegie College’s School of Health, Childcare and Science is delighted to have been appointed as a preferred training supplier for Scottish Care.

Speaking of the announcement Ian MacMaster, Senior Manager, Scottish Care “I am delighted to appoint Carnegie College to our preferred supplier list as an ‘approved training provider’. They have consistently demonstrated a proven track record in delivering Scottish Vocational Qualifications, including the Registered Manager’s Award, throughout Scotland. I have been greatly impressed by their enthusiasm and commitment to our industry sector and the high quality service level provided.”

Based in Dunfermline, Carnegie College, (formerly known as Lauder College), has been delivering education and professional training within the Care Sector for a number of years. During this time it has continually developed and adapted to the changing needs for the care sector. Today it provides and delivers a wide range of Scottish Vocational Qualifications and Professional Development courses throughout Scotland, supporting the needs of well-known companies both large and small. Competitive pricing and reliable, flexible delivery has ensured that more and more companies are choosing Carnegie College for their staff development needs.

Speaking of the announcement Head of School Marion Scott stated “Carnegie College’s School of Health, Childcare and Science is proud of its reputation of delivering a high standard of training and education in supporting the wider health sector encompassing healthcare, childcare, social care, complementary and beauty therapies and counselling.”

Marion continued “We believe in preparing our students whether it be for further study to degree level, or directly into employment through vocational training as well as supporting the needs of our customers working in the industry through our range of continuing professional development (CPD) training. We respond to the needs of the Industry regarding new training courses and are currently working on an on-line delivery system increasing choice and flexibility on offer via more effective delivery modes.”

Ian MacMaster added “I would have no hesitation in encouraging Scottish Care Members to embrace these opportunities which are offered through Carnegie College. In addition Carnegie College offers highly competitive pricing policies plus of course a negotiated discount to Scottish Care members. The College will be a worthy addition to our other preferred suppliers in this highly competitive but essential sector.”
