Our February Networking event is being held jointly with Impact 21 at its offices in the Saltire Centre, Glenrothes. We are delighted to welcome Linda McDowall, Director Business Networks and Communcations at Scottish Enterprise to provide an update to those attending on the latest developments within Scottish Enterprise and its strategic role in helping businesses.

Linda is responsible for the organisation''s marketing and communications activity. She joined Scottish Enterprise in 2001 and has an extensive knowledge and experience in both business and economic development. She currently holds a number of board positions including Council of CBI Scotland, SCDI, IOD and New Lanarkshire Ltd.

We will also be hearing from a local company, Vets Now, who has benefited from the valuable assistance they received from Business Gateway and Scottish Enterprise. The final speaker at this exciting event will be Joyce Duncan, Managing Director of Impact 21. Impact 21 is the enterprise support organisation for Fife, delivering Business Gateway services alongside other start up and growth support.

Joyce’s industry experience covers leadership, management and strategic planning. She has over 25 years experience in coaching and advising SME’s and is a board member of Business Enterprise Scotland, the representative body of all Scotland’s Enterprise Trusts.
