SGM Celebrate Expansion Success
SGM has acquired the business and assets of All Seasons Groundcare (ASG), the company which took over the Cheshire-based Swan Plant business in 2006.
The Inverkeithing-based company which operates across the UK through a network of 9 branches, is to add over 1200 pieces of equipment from the All Seasons fleet.
SGM MD Steven McInroy says "We are delighted to have finally secured the purchase of the ASG fleet, which allows us to further position SGM as the leading hirer of groundscare equipment in the UK and will materially benefit our trading for this year"
"Most of the equipment is presently available for short-term or spot hire, and where it is currently out with a local authority or private customer, we will be in contact with them to make arrangements to continue the hire arrangements"
Current director of All Seasons Groundcare, John Moore said "We congratulate Steven McInroy and his team on the acquisition of the business and feel confident that SGM will continue to grow and strengthen confidence in the rental market - and we wish them well"
In addition to its branch network, SGM has set up Centres of Excellence whereby it provides and manages full on-site workshop facilities. One of these is located at the prestigious Gleneagles resort, venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup.
