National Firm Invests in Fife

The Edinburgh office of accountancy firm Haines Watts has announced its merger with the Fife-based firm Norman Berry. Andy Minifie, Group Managing Director of Haines Watts said: "We are a national firm committed to investing geographically to be closer to our clients. Our furthest northern branch was the Edinburgh office. This merger with Fife's Berry & Co is the first step in our strategic plan to build our presence in Scotland, providing additional services from locally based practices."

Norman Berry has been based in Kirkcaldy since 1975. The firm was first run by Norman Berry and more recently by his son, Gordon.
