Future Jobs Talks

Bob Garmory and Gordon Brown

Gordon Brown MP met with Bob Garmory, the new president of Fife Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise, this week to discuss jobs in Fife.

The former Prime Minister congratulated the chamber in all it does to contribute to the growth of the Fife economy, and praised millions of pounds of development coming to areas such as Kirkcaldy over the past few years.

He said: "It will be more important than ever that we all work together to maintain the current jobs and continue to see new investment come into Fife over the next period. Jobs must remain our top priority in Fife and I will support the Chamber in their drive to ensure the skilled opportunities are available for people for the jobs of the future."
