Fife Firm Scoops National Award
Dunfermline accountancy firm Thomson Cooper is delighted to have been voted, by unanimous decision, Best Small Firm at this year's Scottish Accountancy Awards, having won at the inaugural event back in 2008. The awards were presented at a ceremony and dinner on Thursday 20th May at the Hilton Hotel, Glasgow.
This hotly contested category was aimed at firms with fewer than 150 partners and staff and was judged on leadership, growth, innovation, client service and Corporate Social Responsibility. Scottish Business Insider, in conjunction with title sponsor Bank of Scotland, supported the prestigious event, which gives important recognition of achievement in the Scottish accountancy and finance sectors. An independent panel of highly respected financial and business leaders judged the awards.
Thomson Cooper's Managing Partner Alan Thomson is thrilled with this latest achievement, "We are immensely proud to be recognised as the best firm of our size in Scotland. These awards have created a benchmark against which all Scottish accountancy firms aspire to and we are deeply honoured to have won our category on both occasions we have entered. I believe that it was our commitment to client satisfaction that impressed the judges and I thank all the team here for their dedication."
