Owner Kathy Hill said "Baxters are delighted to be supporting small local Scottish producers like ourselves. I have 9 HealthyLiving Awards for my meals, which is more than half my menu. It signifies that they are low in salt, sugar and fat."

The HealthyLiving Awards are part of a campaign by consumer focus Scotland to get Scotland eating healthier and looking out for the green apple on labels.

Kathy continued "this shows that I have committed to promoting the healthy alternatives wherever possible. This is good news for the frozen ready meal market as just yesterday the public were being warned about the hidden salt in frozen meals. They really don't have to worry with my food!"
