DESCRIPTION:International Trade Pathway -Inward and Outward Processing\n7th
  November 2023\n\nInward Processing (IP) is used to obtain relief from cus
 toms duties and import VAT on goods that are imported from outside the UK 
 for processing. The basic principle is to allow UK exporters to be more co
 mpetitive by reducing their processing costs\, Processes that are permitte
 d under IP include manufacturing sorting and packing repair and refurbishm
 ent.\n\nThis half day training course will examine the principles and term
 inology of IP and some of the operations available within IP and will look
  briefly at Outward Processing.\n\nTopics:\n\nConditions of using IP\nOper
 ational Methodology\nWhat constitutes a ‘process’\nThe customs declara
 tion \nOptions available within IP\nBill of Discharge\nOutward Processing\
 n\n\nBooking:\nThis course is funded by InvestFife therefore places FREE b
 ut are limited to one person per company.  Numbers are limited and on a
