This is an online interactive course designed to help participants understand how working with Agents & Distributors can help grow their business overseas. It will explore the different aspects of the legal relationship between the Principal and the appointed partner, the cost implications to the business along with guidance on how to successfully approach the selection, appointment and management process,

Overview of options for routes to market – one size does not necessarily fit all
The difference between Agents & Distributors and how they operate, including cost advantages and disadvantages
Considerations regarding territory and the differing levels of authority
Legal Considerations
Contracts – key elements to include in Agency and Distributor agreements
How to select a good agent/distributor and pitfalls to avoid
Understand the difference between Agents & Distributors and their respective roles
Understand how Agents & Distributors can help you grow your business overseas
Open to Fife Businesses only
This course is funded by InvestFife therefore places are FREE but limited to one person per company. Numbers are limited and on a first come first served basis. Please contact Morag Durie to book this course at [email protected]
Places are limited to 1 person per company. This course will be delivered online via Zoom, you will need a PC with camera and microphone.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Although this event is free to attend, an administrative fee of £10 will be applied when you cancel your booking three or less days prior to the event.
