The Scottish National Investment Bank (SNIB) officially opened for business in November 2020 with a £2bn capital investment budget over the next 10 years to finance projects that will deliver on the Scottish Government’s key objectives to transition to net zero, build communities and enhance innovation. Funding will be provided in multiple forms, including through loans and equity purchases. We are delighted to welcome its Director of Partnership & Engagement, David Ritchie, to explain more about its remit and funding criteria, and to answer your questions.
