Marketing Director, Ingenico

Adam is the Marketing Director for Western Europe for Ingenico Group, a global payments technology company that works with all sizes of Merchants and Banks. He has over 15 years’ experience in Marketing, Business Development and Consultancy; including as an entrepreneur. He is a graduate of the University of Dundee.

Alan Mitchell

Chair

Alan became Chief Executive of Fife Chamber of Commerce in June 2016. He was appointed with a remit to grow its membership, having previously developed and executed successful membership engagement and growth strategies at other leading Scottish and UK business membership organisations. He is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde.

Allan is founder and Managing Director of Semefab Ltd.  A.B.Sc (Hons) Physics graduate from Southampton University in 1973, Allan started his career in DRAM development and manufacture at Mullard Southampton and ITT Sidcup, moving into Silicon on Sapphire technology development at GEC Hurst Research Centre in Wembley and MEDL in Lincoln until 1982.  He then turned to Wafer fab management at General Instruments in Glenrothes until 1986 at which point he established Semefab.

Andrew joined Thomson Cooper after working for ‘Big 4’ firm PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager and was admitted to Partnership in 1990.  He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a Registered Auditor with considerable experience in a range of industries.  He is a trustee of several charities and is Chair of the Audit Committee of Scotland’s largest independent charity. He works with many membership organisations and is an expert in Corporate Finance.

David Frenz began his career in 2007 with Stagecoach South as a graduate trainee.  Upon completing his training, David was appointed as an Operations Manager in Manchester and remained in post for 5 years. In 2014 David moved to Scottish Citylink, which is operated as a joint venture between Stagecoach and ComfortDelGro, as Operations Director.  David was part of the Stagecoach team which helped to deliver transport solutions in London during the Olympics in 2012

Duncan assists with handling matters of both a contentious and non-contentious nature. This has ranged from bringing and resisting claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination and national minimum wage in the employment tribunal. He also assists with drafting employment contracts and dealing with TUPE queries. Duncan regularly provides employment law training to clients and HR professionals and most recently to a group of 80 accountants in Glasgow.

Fergus is responsible for managing the Customer Service & Logistics team based in the Leven Packaging site in Fife, Scotland. Responsible for Diageo's North America and Western Europe customers, the team manage the order processing, logistics planning and delivery management through to customer/warehouse. As well as this, Fergus is responsible for the bulk whisky, matured rum and white spirits exports ex. Scotland to customers worldwide.

John started his working career after leaving school in 1982 working in the finance sector, where he had spells working for the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Nat West Bank and the Prudential in Edinburgh. After a period of further study at Fife College, John completed his CIPD qualifications at Abertay University. John joined Kettle Produce Limited in 1995 and worked in the Production and Wages Departments before moving into Personnel. Next year John will be celebrating his 25th year with the business.

Judith is the Director of the Graduate Apprenticeship programme having been a lecturer in Civil Engineering for the last ten years. She is an alumnus of the University, graduating with a BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering in 1997 and completed her PhD in 2002, and is an established member of the Concrete Technology Unit researching the innovative use of sustainable materials in construction – with particular focus on recycling materials. She has worked on many industrial led research projects and has experience with working with both SME and large organisations, as well as Government bodies.

Kennedy is responsible for the test, research and development laboratories and lead materials developments, research into future cabling technologies, environmentally conscious designs and the Brand-Rex sustainability initiatives, including the Brand-Rex Global Carbon Neutral project

Nicola joined Blackadders in June 2003 and is responsible for the creation and development of the firm's marketing strategy and for the continuing development of the Blackadders' brand. Nicola leads the marketing department on various ongoing projects as well as managing relationships with a number of support agencies. She and her team work closely with all practice areas within the firm. Nicola has many years of experience in marketing and business development across a wide range of industry sectors, products and services.

Ross is a Partner of EQ Chartered Accountants, based in their Glenrothes office. He enjoys working with his clients to help them achieve their commercial and life goals in a tax efficient manner, with his accounting and tax expertise covering a varied number of areas. In addition, he is Treasurer of Dunfermline Round Table and the Dunfermline Charity Beer Festival.
