Cooper Software Score with the Homeless World Cup

The 15th edition of the Homeless World Cup will take place in Oslo’s iconic Rådhusplassen, The City Hall Square, from 29 August until 5 September. Over 500 players representing more than 50 countries will be in attendance, in what is promised to be the biggest and most ambitious Homeless World Cup tournament to date.

To assist with the tournament, Cooper Software are providing the Homeless World Cup Foundation with one member of staff to take on the role of Scoring Manager. Playing a key role throughout the tournament, the Scoring Manager receives the scores from every match by radio and also signed paper copy, and then inputs them into the master spreadsheet. With no room for error, the role is integral to the smooth running of the Tournament.

Cooper Software are avid supporters of the Homeless World Cup and are currently fundraising for the charity as part of our involvement in the Business Fives tournament, where the company reached the National Final earlier this month.

The company is also currently developing a NetSuite solution, specifically designed for football clubs, which aims to create a single system encompassing all areas of the business; integrated financials with CRM and an e-commerce platform to act as the face of the club. The purpose designed platform can be built upon over time to create a single gateway, replacing all of the outsourced and specialised systems. 
Attending the Homeless World Cup tournament will allow the company to gain a deeper understanding of the systems in use and use this knowledge to continue to develop their offering.
