Fife Chamber of Commerce has welcomed local hotel Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh - Queensferry Crossing as its latest Premier Partner.
Part of the family-owned Cairn Hotel Group’s 33-strong portfolio, the Doubletree by Hilton Edinburgh – Queensferry Crossing is located in a prime Fife location on the shores of the Forth and the Forth Bridge world heritage site, with magnificent, panoramic views of the iconic Queensferry Crossing.
The hotel’s tourism expertise in the area will be a welcome addition to the Chamber’s role in representing Fife business interests across all sectors.
General Manager Stuart Douglas said:
“The tourism sector in Fife is a diverse and thriving industry, and with projects like the fantastic Queensferry Crossing adding to the area’s prestigious, globally-recognised credentials – visitors to Fife are expected to continue to rise.
“The hotel has been a member of Fife Chamber for a number of years, and since my joining in May 2017 I have seen first-hand the advantages and benefits the Chamber membership provides.
“The Chamber’s business networking events provide excellent opportunities to engage with high-level decision-makers in Fife, and have been a great platform for the hotel to meet the local business community, proactively talking about the tourism sector and the facilities our rebranded hotel can provide.
“Premier Partnership is an evolution of our work with the Chamber, and our commitment to forge mutually beneficial working relationships with the broad spread of businesses and business people operating in Fife.
“We are fortunate to be a part of a really passionate and motivated Chamber, with a professional, personable team, and with a membership always ready to welcome new members – I look forward to work with other Premier Partners and members to help grow the Chamber and to promote its benefits to the Fife business community.”
Fife Chamber President Peter Southcott said:
“Fife is phenomenal location to visit and to do business. We are surrounded by world-renowned landmarks, structures and tourist attractions – some with historical significance, others brand new – but all making Fife’s tourism potential the envy of other regions.
“The Chamber has a long-standing relationship with the hotel, and we are very happy to welcome Stuart and his staff onboard as a Premier Partner. Their commitment to supporting the Chamber’s objectives is already visible through their sponsorship of this year’s Excellence in Food and Drink category at the Fife Business Awards.
“I look forward to furthering our joint commitment to promoting Fife as a key destination, to experience all that our tourism sector can offer, or even to build a business of your own.”
