Financial Services heavyweight to lead expansion

Thomson Cooper Accountants are delighted to announce the appointment of Bruce Hendry as Head of Wealth Management. This new role heralds the re-structuring and expansion of their successful Financial Services Division across their Edinburgh and Dunfermline offices.

Mr Hendry has extensive experience in the wealth management industry gained from a number of high profile positions spanning almost 20 years. He is a Chartered Wealth Manager, Chartered Financial Planner and holds the STEP Certificate for Financial Services for Trusts and Estate Planning. He has also been involved in lecturing and tutoring at Edinburgh & Dundee Universities and is currently undertaking an executive MBA at the University of Edinburgh Business School.

Regarding his new challenge Mr Hendry commented, “Thomson Cooper have a strong base of clients and their Financial Services funds under management have flourished in the last few years. I believe there is significant potential to extend our reach, with scope to increase the services offered to appeal to new and existing markets.”
