Growth Institute Certification for The HR Booth

Alistair Booth from The HR Booth recently successfully completed the Master Practitioner Scaling Up Programme with the Growth Institute, a global organisation who coach and support business growth.

Alistair completed an intensive online course over a 3-month period, and is now certified on the key elements of business growth including People, Strategy, Cash and Execution.

Alistair said “Our own business is growing steadily and a number of our clients are experiencing high growth, and I felt it was important to learn more about how to best support them scale their businesses, and at the same time ensure we had the right structure in place at The HR Booth.

The course was very intense but a great learning experience, and having the support of a Coach and the other delegates participating in the course, definitely helped. It was great to collaborate with others from all over the world that all run their own businesses, and we’ve already been able to share some great practice around culture, strategy and growth plans. I had previously read the Scaling Up book and I was using this a useful reference tool, and when the opportunity arose to complete the course, I couldn't wait to get started.

One of our Core Values at The HR Booth is Personal Development, and I think it’s really important to lead by example and continue to develop our knowledge and skills. We’ve made a number of small changes in our business as a result of the programme, and this has really helped us focus on the things that matter. As a result of the Scaling Up course, I’m also now coaching and supporting our high growth clients, particularly around culture, leadership and people development.”
