Horisk developing online application system for The Scottish Charity Regulator

The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) has appointed Horisk to develop a system to allow online applications for charitable status. It aims to make registration as simple as possible for the applicant while also allowing the streamlining of decision-making processes within OSCR.

Charities are already able to submit annual returns and perform other administrative tasks online, but this will the first time that the application form for charitable status will be available online. Work is well underway, with the system currently being tested by real users and due to be publically launched later in 2018.

The contract was awarded through the Scottish Government Application Design and Development Services (ADDS) framework. Horisk are one of just twenty international, UK and Scottish businesses appointed to the framework.

This project not only allows us to develop a user-friendly application form for those working in the charity sector, but also give OSCR a system which allows them full control of the application process and links in with their existing back-end systems.

It is one of just 20 Scottish, UK and international companies to be awarded a place on the Scottish Government Application Design and Development Framework.
