The upmarket department store is heading to St Andrews for the first time as part of new plans which have also seen it rebranded Holly Nichols for September.

Harvey Nichols Edinburgh is set to open the temporary store for a day at The Adamson Restaurant and Bar first pop-up shop in St Andrews as part of its on-the-road trunk shows.

Bosses are taking their fashion brand on the road to Fife for the first time in a partnership with the restaurant.

There they will unveil their latest autumn/winter womenswear, accessories and jewellery along with The Adamson offering Champagne, canapes, cocktails and 2 course lunch as part of the ticket price.

The Adamson managing director Julie Lewis said: "We are honoured to host the first ever Harvey Nichols event in St Andrews and to welcome general manager Louise Masson and her team.  It's an opportunity to show the global fashion brand in the town."

The pop-up shop will be at the restaurant on October 4.

It is part of new plans by the store which has seen outlets rebranded as Holly Nichols for September in a campaign to celebrate women.
