Fife College achieves best positive destination figures in Scotland

Fife College has recorded an increase in the percentage of their students going on to positive destinations, meaning that they now have the best rate of any college in Scotland.

Figures published by the Scottish Funding Council for the 2018-19 academic year show that just under 3,000 Fife College students went on to further studies, training or in to employment once completing their course.

This meant that 93.3% of students went on to positive destinations, higher than any of Scotland’s other colleges, and against the national trend which saw a slight drop overall.

It marks a second consecutive year of improvement for the College after their recorded percentage of 91.1% in the previous year.

Commenting on the figures, Assistant Principal Iain Hawker said that they were a reflection of the continued work the College did to provide high-quality, relevant learning and teaching to all of their students.
