Fife Chamber of Commerce Vacancy - Chief Executive

Fife Chamber of Commerce is an independent, member-led organisation which represents the interests of Fife businesses and promotes their development through an extensive range of services, events and information provision. The Chamber is the voice of business in Fife – locally based but connected nationally and internationally through its affiliation with Scottish and British Chambers of Commerce organisations.

We are seeking a Chief Executive to lead and manage the organisation through a planned programme of growth in membership and influence, based on established sound governance, management and service delivery. Reporting to the Chamber Board, the Chief Executive will be responsible for developing future strategy and policies and managing our small executive team.

Suitable candidates will have a successful track record of leadership and achievement, ideally in a commercial or membership-based organisation. The role requires someone with energy and enthusiasm , excellent communication and relationship-building skills and a broad awareness of business and economic issues. The Chief Executive will be expected to maintain a high profile in the business community.
