DYW Business Breakfast Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase (office.com)
DYW Fife will host its first Business Breakfast of 2024 on Thursday 14th March from 9:00am – 10:30am at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy. This will be followed by our Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase from 11:00am – 2:15pm.
The breakfast will have a particular focus on Manufacturing and Engineering, with Paul Sheeran - Scottish Engineering attending as keynote speaker. You will have an opportunity to hear how DYW Fife can help bridge the gap between businesses and Education with dialogue and opportunities for businesses to engage with our schools, young people, and the future workforce in Fife. The DYW Fife team and our network of DYW School coordinators will be on hand and you will hear from young people who have benefited from engaging through DYW initiatives. It is also an opportunity to network with others from across the manufacturing and engineering sector in Fife.
Following our breakfast, businesses will have the opportunity to exhibit at our Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase. S3 pupils from all 18 High Schools will attend between 11:00am and 2:15pm (lunch 12:15pm-1:00pm) allowing them the opportunity to explore and learn how the sector has evolved and discuss the skills and future opportunities within this innovative landscape. Targeted S4-6 pupils with an interest in these areas, and nearing transition will also be in attendance. Lunch will be provided to all exhibitors on the day. Spaces to exhibit on are limited so please be quick to secure your spot.
If you would like to attend our Business Breakfast and Showcase, please complete the below forms link by Friday 23rd February 2024. There is the option to attend the day in full or parts of the day that suit you best. Full details of the day will be provided on confirmation of attendance.
