Please note, this role will be based within our offices based in Cardenden, Fife KY5 0BW with no option for remote work.


Duties include:



Processing purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes.
Dealing with internal / external mail.
Managing & maintaining computerised vehicle tracker system, including MOTS, repairs, services and tax
Ensuring employee personnel and HR & training records are up to date.
Completing daily admin tasks such as answering the telephone, greeting visitors, responding to emails including all other various admin tasks.
Uploading documents onto electronic systems/databases/company systems.
Ensuring all document filing is up to date and all confidential paperwork is shredded.
Working as part of a team.
Full training on our in-house MI software shall be provided.

Skills required:


Excellent Communication SkillsExcellent Organisational SkillsAbility to multi- task, prioritise and time manage A proactive and problem-solving mindset Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft ExcelGood attention to detail Ability to communicate efficiently via telephone, email etc Ability to work using own initiativePrevious experience working within a Construction Business would be beneficial.

About The Role
We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreperson, Workshop Manager or Supervisor ready for the challenge of managing our light fabrication shop.
As Workshop Manager, you will oversee the full day-to-day operation of the workshop, driving efficiency, quality, and compliance.

Responsibilities
*Lead, motivate and develop the workshop team to ensure smooth daily operations.
*Liaise with our existing client base as well as identify potential new customers.
*Collate man hours and materials for invoicing purposes.
*Oversee fabrication, welding, and assembly processes to meet production and quality targets.
*Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
*Coordinate closely with fabrication and welding supervisors and project engineers to ensure production targets are met.

Qualifications
*Proven experience in Fabrication workshop and supervision.
*Strong leadership and organizational skills.
*Ability to read technical drawings and understand fabrication processes.
*Good communication skills and team management abilities.
*Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing environment.
*Preferred: Basic Microsoft Works knowledge

Gray Fabrication is a medium to heavy Fabrication/Engineering Company based in Cupar, Fife. We have more than 40 years of extensive experience servicing the Offshore, Energy and General Engineering sectors and more recently, the Renewables industry.


4 Day working week: 4 x 9.75hrs - £42k to 46k depending on experience.
Overtime rates are x 1.5 Monday – Saturday and x 2 Sunday.
Annual holidays 257.4 hours – flexible subject to suitable cover and Christmas/New Year break.

Dunnikier Park Golf Club is seeking a permanent Assistant Chef to join the team at our well-established and friendly club in Kirkcaldy, Fife

Due to the seasonal nature of the business you will work an average of 20 hours in the Winter and 40 hours in the Summer, occasional split shifts, no late night working (8pm finish).

About the role:

As an assistant Chef, you will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, contributing to the preparation and delivery of high-quality food across the Bar, Restaurant, and Function Rooms. You will also lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring smooth and efficient service. This is a hands-on role where you'll collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Front of House Manager to maintain the club's excellent standards of food and hospitality. Working hours for this role are an annualized average of 30 hours per week, breaking down to 20 hours per week in the off season and 40 hours per week during the golfing season with the expectation to work weekends and holidays as needed, along with flexibility based on the needs of the business.
