Amazon General Manager shortlisted for Scottish Ex-Forces Business Award

Amazon Fulfilment Centre in Dunfermline are delighted to announce that their General Manager Graham Allison has been shortlisted in the Outstanding Achiever of the Year category.

The shortlist for the inaugural Scottish edition of the Ex-Forces in Business Awards, the world’s largest celebration of military veterans in second careers. These finalists were whittled down from more than 250 nominations, each a demonstration in their own right of the great value that former servicemen and women bring to employers after leaving the military.

Speaking about his nomination Graham said:

“I am delighted to be shortlisted and it’s great to see the recognition of all the nominees. What struck me looking through the shortlist was the calibre of the candidates and some of the roles they fill. The companies represented are some of the finest in the UK and the World – hiring people with a forces background can really pay off for employers. It’s great to share with sailors, soldiers and airmen that there is an exciting life on civvy street.”

The winners of these prestigious awards will be revealed at the Scottish Ex-Forces in Business Awards ceremony and gala dinner on 3 December 2019 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow.
