Bandrum Nursing Home Charity Night Success
Staff at Bandrum Nursing Home have raised over £1800 recently by holding a 'Stars in Your Eyes Night'. The event helped to raise awareness and much needed funds for Scottish Huntingtons Association. SHA are one of the charities Bandrum Nursing Home supports closely. The association look after people living with the Huntingtons condition and their families.
Rachel Payne, Managing Director said "we have looked after many wonderful people living with this condition at Bandrum Nursing Home and it’s a charity close to my heart. There is also a Fife group and specialist nurses that come to Fife so the funds raised will support the local services."
This was Bandrums second 'Stars in Your Eyes' night and was held at Abbeyview Bowling Club.
Rachel continued "We had a good number of the original singers and some new ones joined the line up resulting in a fantastic show. Staff from Bandrum Nursing Home sang this time with Pat and Alice Callaghan kindly acting as comperes as well as singing. Bill Borwon did the music and we were joined by Residents, and staff from Bandrum as well as friends and family of all involved to enjoy the fun."
A prize raffle took place with prizes donated from local suppliers /businesses and people connected to Bandrum.
