Boyd Legal expands in Fife with new Kirkcaldy office
Boyd Legal Solicitors has opened a new base in Kirkcaldy as a stepped move to develop its presence in Fife.
The firm, headquartered in Edinburgh, previously acquired Kirkcaldy-based Gibson & Spears, Dow & Son and was operating from its East Fergus Place office. The firm has a flexible structure that enables it to assist clients all over Scotland.
Peter Aitken, former proprietor of Gibson & Spears, Dow & Son will continue on a part time basis from the start of April. The Kirkcaldy office will be led by Kelly Matthews, an experienced corporate/commercial solicitor.”
Speaking about the opening of the office Kelly Matthews said
“It was fantastic to see so many people turning out to support Boyd Legal in launching our new offices. This building represents a wonderful opportunity for us to enable our trusted connections to share their knowledge with our clients. We want to assist businesses in the area and play an active role in the local community; which is why we asked Kirkcaldy High School pupils along to perform on the evening. We are committing to a long-term relationship with the school and I look forward to seeing how that develops. Continuing to grow the long-established and well-respected business of the former firm Gibson & Spears, Dow & Sons under Boyd Legal is going to be an exciting challenge for me. I hope to meet many clients (old and new) in the coming months. Thank you to all who turned out to enjoy the festivities and, in particular, to Richard and his team from De-licious Catering for ensuring that the night was a great success.”
