Consultation on Proposed Transient Visitor Levy

Following the announcement by the Scottish Government that it will allow local authorities to introduce a Transient Visitor Levy, or as it is otherwise known the ‘Tourism Tax’, having originally said that it was not minded to do so, we are doing a quick ‘straw poll’ of Chamber members in the hospitality sector to gauge their reaction.
We would be grateful if you could take a few moments to advise what, if any, impact you believe this measure will have on your own business and hospitality and tourism in Fife more generally if Fife Council chooses to introduce the new Levy by emailing [email protected]
