DPS Group take on the Three Peaks Challenge
Four colleagues from Glenrothes-based DPS Group are to take on the famous Three Peaks Challenge to raise valuable funds for a charity close to home
Fife Gingerbread supports lone parent, vulnerable and disadvantaged families across Fife.
They have many support services that all work to the same ethos: Engage - Support - Progress.
For many of the parents supported they face barriers such as poverty, isolation and poor mental health.
Colin Burnett, Steve Turner, Mike Scott and Det Hoeflich will tackle the Three Peaks Challenge over one weekend in early October.
The peaks are the tallest in their respective countries:
- Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
- Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
- Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
A DPS Group spokesperson said: “It’s a big challenge for four middle-aged men (it really is), but we’re up for it because we know how important the services that Fife Gingerbread provide to families in need.”
DPS Group has committed to match whatever the team secures through their own fundraising efforts.
