Dunfermline based Eclipse (IP) Ltd gains accredited ISO 9001:2015

In case you’re not familiar with NSI Gold this is the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. It is the most popular standard in the ISO 9000 series and the only standard in the series to which organisations can certify. We voluntarily invited NSI to audit our business and check that our products and services comply with industry standards.

This level of NSI that we have (NSI Gold) holds the greatest perceived value across industry and by the police, fire and rescue services and insurers.

The certification process includes implementing the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 and then completing a successful registrar’s audit confirming the organisation meets those requirements.

There is a stronger focus on leadership and commitment to the quality management system in the assessment for ISO 9001 2015.
