Fife Chamber Kicks Off Alfred Dunhill Week With Insightful Business Breakfast

7th October 2025

Last Thursday, 2nd October 2025, Fife Chamber of Commerce hosted a special Business Breakfast to mark the start of the Alfred Dunhill Tournament week with Dundee & Angus Chamber of Commerce.

The breakfast, held ahead of the golf action, brought together local business leaders, industry voices and community stakeholders for a morning of discussion, networking and insight.

The event featured a keynote presentation from Quaker Oats, exploring longevity, sustainability, and the importance of working with the local community. Following this, a dynamic panel session brought together representatives from Jannettas Gelateria, Fisher & Donaldson and Balcaskie Estate, family businesses over 100 years old, to discuss stewardship, legacy and the evolution of their businesses.

Stephen Percy-Robb, Chief Executive of Fife Chamber, said:
"It was a privilege to bring together such esteemed speakers and panelists as we welcome the world’s attention to Fife for the Alfred Dunhill week. Events like this are crucial - they remind us that business, heritage and place go hand in hand, and that meaningful conversation before the sport begins helps set the tone for partnership and progress in our region."

The Business Breakfast gave attendees a chance to connect, exchange ideas, and look ahead to how Fife’s business community can continue to collaborate, champion and support local businesses.
