Fife College once again records best positive destination figures in Scotland

10th January 2022

Fife College has again recorded the best positive destination figures of any college in Scotland according to latest Scottish Funding Council statistics.

Students from across Scotland who graduated in the 2019-20 academic year were surveyed to discover what they went on to do after graduating from college.

90.2% of students from Fife College reported that they had gone on to a 'positive destination', meaning they were in work, training and/or further study three to six months after qualifying.

Fife College Principal Hugh Hall said that the figures were a testament to the commitment and hard work of students and staff, especially given the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.

He also highlighted that this success rate underscores the value of coming to College and the life opportunities that the College creates.

Fife College Principal, Dr Hugh Hall said:

"These figures are proof of the fantastic work being done across the College to support our students into further study and employment.

"We pride ourselves in providing training, expertise and knowledge that will be relevant in today's job market.

"This, in addition to our strong links with employers and our routes to studying a degree at the College or at a wide range of universities, are what has helped us achieve these figures.

"These results are very strong and prove again that College is a great place to go for people of all ages in Fife who are looking to start or shift their career.

"We have over 400 courses on offer here across a whole range of different sectors, so there is something for everyone.

"Whatever it is you want to do in life, Fife College can help you achieve it."
