Haines Watts supports the local community with foodbank campaign at Christmas
21st December 2017
On the lead up to Christmas, local accountants and business advisers, Haines Watts organised a different kind of Christmas campaign. Haines Watts offices around the country supported local foodbanks, and Haines Watts in Kirkcaldy was busily collecting both food and none food items to help local people who may be living in food poverty over Christmas.
Fraser Kerr, Senior Partner said: “This time of year can be very difficult for individuals and families who are already managing on extremely tight budgets. Increased winter fuel costs, an unexpected illness or a delay in receiving benefits can be enough to push people into food crisis. This campaign ensures we support these people in our local community.”
