The airport will also see Turkish Airlines expand its offering with the addition of Dalaman to its Istanbul and Antalya schedule, while SunExpress will operate its first route from the capital, flying to Antalya.
Kate Sherry, Aviation Director at Edinburgh Airport said:
“We know Christmas is a really exciting time of the year as people look forward to sharing gifts and spending time with their nearest and dearest. The holiday season is one that’s always marked up early in calendars and we want people to know that the holiday season is not just in December!
"We've added a number of new airlines and destinations to our schedule and we're looking forward to seeing what 2022 brings for people who are looking to finally get away on that family holiday or city break, to reconnect with family across the Atlantic or even attending that best friend's wedding in Eastern Europe. Travel brings a lot of things to a lot of people and we hope that people will look to return to safe and sustainable travel when they can and begin to see the world again."
