Just the cuppa! Afternoon tea at John Smith Business Park raises funds for good cause
Local businesses at John Smith Business Park (Kirkcaldy) tucked into tea and cake this week in a scrumptious way to raise funds for Breast Cancer Care.
The afternoon tea on Wednesday 21 June was organised by managed workspace provider, Flexspace, who let offices and workshops at the business park to Kirkcaldy start-ups and SMEs.
Raising £138 for the good cause, Flexspace area manager, Shona Galloway, said: “The event was a real success. It was fantastic to see Flexspace tenants and members of the public popping by to not only enjoy some of the great bakes and a cup of tea but to also support Breast Cancer Care.”
With a raffle and competitions also lined up throughout the afternoon, winners indulged in a delicious Victoria Sponge whipped up by Ryan Catignani from The Tea House situated at Flexspace John Smith Business Centre.
Regular networking and fundraising events are held at the Flexspace Kirkcaldy centre, perfect for start-ups and SMEs looking to grow their businesses locally. Further information on upcoming events is available from Shona Galloway, [email protected]
