McDonald Water Storage 2020 sponsorship finishes at Brands Hatch

McDonald Water Storage have been proud to sponsor Rory Butcher not only this season, but for a number of years across different racing championships. Rory Butcher ends the season in style with a win in the final race of the BTCC 2020 season at Brands Hatch.

Although a challenging year with COVID restrictions, it has proved to be a fantastic season for Rory finishing 5th, especially considering he only joined the Motorbase team at the start of the season. The finishing position may well have been very different if it were not for the two punctures early in the season at Brands hatch and when the car spun out and barrel rolled at Silverstone, completely destroying the car.

However it was definitely the consistency of performance in both qualifying and races that was the factor, finishing on the podium 8 times across the 9 race meetings.

McDonald Water Storage Managing Director Jamie Stewart finished by saying: “We look forward to supporting him again in the 2021 season.”
