Skills Development Scotland Strategic Plan
The new Strategic Plan for Skills Development Scotland has been published. The Plan can be downloaded here.
The Plan sets out the first stage of how SDS will enable people, mobilise employers and collectively create a more dynamic, responsive skills system, towards achieving the Scotland 2035 vision. It also details how SDS will work collaboratively with the other skills and enterprise agencies and local and national partners.
The key objectives of the Plan very much align with the Chamber Network’s approach to skills and talent, with particular focus on productivity and a dynamic & responsive skills system.
SDS have created a Strategic Plan microsite which provides a one stop shop for information, including a strategy map for 2019–22 which summarises the change SDS wants to achieve, and the outcomes that will evidence progress and change.
