Together with Kingdom FM, Kingdom Kid's welcomes Kirsty to the team!
Local Fife charity, Kingdom Kids, recently appointed Kirsty to the role of Charity Co-ordinator. The charity is relatively unknown throughout Fife and over the next year, sets out to shout about the work which they do. The charity was set up to raise funds for disadvantaged children throughout the Kingdom as well as support groups who encourage the development of local children and young adults and new applications for funding are welcomed immediately.
Kirsty has a number of large events organised over the coming year and hopes to also encourage locals to also raise funds on behalf of the charity. This can be great for team moral in businesses or a bit of fun outside the working day and could be anything from small scale pub quizzes to fulfilling your own dreams of organising a music festival! We also have numerous cash cans to be housed across the Kingdom and every penny from these really does mount up!
Speaking about her new role Kirsty said: "Our first organised event takes place at the beautiful Balbirnie House Hotel on Friday 18th October and will be a Strictly Come Dancing Themed Murder Mystery Dinner with an exciting raffle, auction and entertainment. Tickets for the event are priced at £50 for individuals or £450 for a table of 10 and can be purchased by contacting Kirsty directly. Dress code is Glitz and Glam."
She went on to say: "Over the last week, the Kingdom Kid has had the pleasure of presenting Linktown Nursery in Kirkcaldy and Carnegie American Football Club in Dunfermline with the funds which they applied for. Both groups were surprised to have been accepted for funding but so deserving of the help.
We would encourage Chamber members to "like" the Kingdom Kids Facebook Page for further events and hope to meet you all very soon."
With all great events come fantastic sponsorship opportunities with benefits for all those involved. If you would like to sponsor any of our upcoming events, have a raffle prize to donate or simply would like to gain further information, we would be delighted to discuss further.
Kirsty also mentioned that the charity is looking for passionate, dedicated and supportive individuals to join the board as a trustee and would love to hear from anyone who may be interested in such a rewarding role.
