Training Boost for Apprentice Levy Payers
28th September 2017
Private, public and third-sector organisations that have an annual paybill of more than £3m have to pay an Apprenticeship Levy. The Scottish Government has announced a new £10m Flexible Workforce Development Fund that will make up to £10,000 available for in-work skills training to organisations that pay the Apprenticeship Levy.
To be eligible for an award, an organisation will have to partner with a college to deliver the training to up-skill or re-skill existing employees. Guidance notes are available here http://www.sfc.ac.uk/publications-statistics/announcements/announcements-2017/SFCAN132017.aspx)
The closing date for applications is 15th December 2017.
