Vidaco pledges support for Fife Gingerbread Heat & Eat Campaign
Award winning kitchen and living space specialists Vidaco have launched Fife Gingerbread’s 2021 Heat & Eat Campaign this year with a £500 donation.
This year has seen the charity make some significant changes to the campaign which Corporate & PR Co-ordinator Linsey Proctor explains:
“Historically our Heat & Eat Campaign has been run over the winter months to ensure that Fife families are supported over this time of year, but given the extra stress caused by the pandemic, the reduction in the universal credit payments and the rising costs of energy we wanted to extend the campaign to cover the whole year. We will always make sure that our families have a safe and secure Christmas but we want to make sure we provide the much need support throughout the year.”
Kimberley Sinclair, Director of Glenrothes based Vidaco explained why they have supported the campaign:
“Providing the furnishings to heat and eat is what we specialise in and after speaking to Linsey about how the campaign has previously helped local Fife families, we felt it was so important to get involved.
Our decision to have Fife Gingerbread as our nominated charity this year was reinforced once we heard the very moving video from fundraising assistant Charlotte, who shared her story at the Fife Chamber of Commerce Rising Stars dinner earlier this month.
We hope by making this initial donation we can encourage other local businesses to pledge support, it’s amazing if we all do a little bit, a little becomes a lot.
We are continuing to work on other ways we can donate throughout the year and we look forward to updating our friends, partners and customers in the coming months thought our social media platforms Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram."
