Shortlist announced for Fife Business Awards 2016

The wait is over for several business across Fife as the shortlist for the Fife Business Awards 2016 have been unveiled.

There are 11 categories ranging from Best Perfoming Business and Success Through Export to Excellence in Tourism and Excellence in Food & Drink.

The quality of the entrants was extremely high and the shortlisted nominees reflect the sheer breadth of business success throughout Fife, ranging from small start-ups and individual entrepreneurs to long-established businesses.

Two days left for Fife Business Awards applications!

As a consequence of the recent closure of the Forth Road Bridge, and its impact on many businesses, Fife Chamber recently extended the deadline for entries to the Fife Business Awards.

Businesses have until 12 noon this Friday 8 January, 2016 to submit their applications.

Businesses of all sizes and from any sector ranging from manufacturing to retail, agriculture or professional services are being encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible.

2016 is set to be a grandstand year for the Scottish Quality Management Centre (SQMC) after announcing a new sponsorship deal with Dunfermline Athletic Football Club.

The Scottish SPFL League 1 leaders’ ground, East End Park, is just a mile from SQMC’s headquarters, and their huge 7 x 6 meter signage on the eastern ‘SQMC Stand’ is easily visible from one of their training suite windows.

Prince’s Trust Team Celebrate!

Students from the Prince’s Trust Team Programme celebrated their success recently at a special Christmas themed presentation.

The event, held at Fife College’s Priory Campus in Kirkcaldy, marked the end of a 12 week personal development course which the students have all successfully completed and each was presented with a certificate to mark their achievement.
