Big Changes are coming to Fife Chamber of Commerce
In the next few weeks Fife Chamber of Commerce will see some personnel changes.
Chief Executive, Alan Mitchell, who joined Fife Chamber in 2016, has decided to seek new opportunities elsewhere. As a result, Alan will be leaving the Chamber early in the new year.
Colin Brown, Fife Chamber President commenting on the news said “Alan has helped the Chamber grow to become Fife’s primary business organisation. His drive and energy for events mean we now have a significantly busier calendar of events to provide opportunities for our members. It is fitting that the last Fife Showcase event of Alan’s time as Chief Executive was the recent Rising Stars Dinner. Alan’s passion for helping young people and recognising their performance saw us dispense with the Annual Dinner and replace it with an event to celebrate young talent. Everyone who attended the Dinner was struck by how amazing Fife’s Rising Stars are. Alan departs with my, and the Board’s, gratitude, and best wishes.”
At the end of December, Fife Chamber’s Events Executive, Staci Hattan will be commencing her maternity leave. Staci plans to return to the Chamber after her maternity leave, in 2024.
Colin Brown on behalf of her colleagues, the Board and the wider Fife Chamber family said, “We wish Staci and her family well for the new arrival in the new year.”
Our last opportunity to meet in person this year and catch up with Alan before he heads off, will be at the final Chamber Fife Social of 2022 on Thursday 8th December at 4.30pm in the Bridge Café, Glenrothes. We are encouraging you to wear your favourite Christmas jumper (as there’s 3 brilliant prizes up for grabs) and come along for some mince pies and mulled wine as you network. Please do sign up and take this opportunity to make new connections or catch up with existing ones before the festive break. As part of the Fife Social, we will be hosting the first Fife Business Christmas Carol Service, and sending you home filled with festive cheer.
