Copper Christmas cheer comes early

2020 has brought some considerable challenges for us all, so at McDonald Water Storage we thought a bit of copper Christmas cheer should come a little earlier.

Tradition has been that each year we ask our coppersmiths to diversify from their day to day cylinder manufacture to construct a Christmas tree for the reception at our head office in Glenrothes. They did this using copper integron tube for the main tree and a formed cylinder top for the base.

The team then covered the tree with an assortment of decorations including copper snowmen, copper Christmas trees and even used 4″ copper floats, normally used in feed tanks, as the baubles.
