Why?

Scotch Whisky Investments Ltd (SWI) is seeking to deliver a mixed-use development, including a new iconic corporate headquarters building, with restaurants and museum, as well as extensive community facilities for the village, at the former St Johns Works, East Loan in Falkland.

Scotch Whisky Investments (SWI) is heralding a significant investment in Fife.

As part of its vision, it is seeking to deliver a mixed-use development in Falkland at the site of the former St John’s Works, located to the south of the urban edge of the village. This includes proposals for a new iconic corporate headquarters building with restaurants, museum and extensive community facilities for Falkland.

This will be the second consultation event, and it will be held in person on Tuesday, 29 November 2022, between 2 pm and 7 pm at Falkland Community Hall Back Wynd, Falkland, Cupar KY15 7BX.

The team is postponing its scheduled second event from 9 November to ensure it can answer questions, and present sufficient detail, following the online event on 2 August.

The community is encouraged to visit the consultation to view project exhibition boards, ask questions of the development team and leave feedback.

For those unable to attend the in-person event, revised exhibition materials will be added to the project website at: www.orbitconsultations.scot/falkland/ on 29 November.

Both sessions will inform our planning application for the development of the site.

We thank the community for their understanding, and we look forward to presenting our proposals for Falkland.
