Fife Business Awards back with new awards for new times

2022 Fife Business Awards categories reflect new business opportunities and challenges

Fife’s most successful and innovative companies and social enterprises can start an exciting journey that could take them to well-deserved national recognition for their achievements and their ambition on 7th June, when 13 awards will be up for grabs in the 2022 Fife Business Awards.

Four new categories will take centre stage. The Young Business category will showcase the entrepreneurs who are creating the next generation of businesses. Employee welfare has been crucial to business planning during the pandemic, and this is reflected in the new Health & Safety and Wellbeing awards. And in a world where connecting through Zoom and working from home has been the default for so many, the importance of Digital Excellence has never been more significant.

Marketing, School Partnership, Community Partnership and Creativity & Innovation are all carried over from the last Awards, while the Large Business, Training & Development and Sustainability categories carry new names but are essentially the same awards as before. The Small & Medium Business category combines two awards that featured in previous years.

Many practices that became particularly important during Covid will remain significant after it. No company avoided big challenges and upheaval from Covid and lockdown, and no company will be able to simply turn the clock back to the way it was before. Many practices that became normal in the last 13 months will remain a significant feature of our future business landscape. The 2022 Fife Business Awards reflect this, so they remain relevant and relatable to all.”
