Fife Chamber asks Local Businesses to be Part of its Rising Stars Campaign to Celebrate the Kingdom's Talented Young People

Rising Stars is a campaign by Fife Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the talented young people in Fife who are making their mark and creating a brighter future for all of us.

Some of those young people will be leading the Rising Stars Dinner at the Fairmont St Andrews on 18^th November.

Business speakers are two inspiring, young entrepreneurs, George Sinclair from Nimbus Beds and Louis King from Simplypay.

Joint Master of Ceremonies are school pupils Lewis Thompson from Madras College and Sam Morrison from Viewforth High School.

Entertainment comes from Kayleigh Muir & Rowan Wallace from Viewforth High School and the ‘Waid Musicians’ from Waid Academy.

Fife College students will provide AV & Technical services and are supplying bespoke jewellery as raffle prizes.

Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of Fife Chamber of Commerce, said of Rising Stars: “Young people are already proving their worth across Fife and we are proud to recognise their achievements."

“Fife Chamber’s support for young people is longstanding. We have been an energetic supporter of Developing Young Workforce Fife since its inception, and we continue to strive to make DYW successful by building more bridges between local businesses and local schools."

“But we want to do more, because there are many talented young people working in our local businesses who deserve to be supported and celebrated too for the innovation, energy and success they are bringing to those companies. That is why we created Rising Stars."

“Local businesses can take part by telling us about their talented young employees and apprentices and we will highlight them at the Rising Stars Dinner. It can be done easily using a short online form on the Rising Stars website."

“I ask every Fife business that employs a talented young person who is making a difference in the firm to tell us who they are, and we will shout about them. In doing so, we will provide a timely reminder during these tough economic times that the next generation is already creating a better future for everyone in Fife."
