Fife Chamber CEO Update October 2023

12th October 2023

I hope this update finds you well.

I am fully aware that business remains extremely challenging with ongoing world, political and geographical problems but I am hopeful that we may see some degree of world stability in the not-too-distant future.

During the last month, your Chamber Team have been extremely busy with the following events and training sessions being undertaken.

Fife Business Expo

We are now looking back and reflecting on our first-ever Fife Business Expo. We had over 40 Businesses attending and showing off their products and services and over 130 people attending the event including the six excellent seminars. We have had some great feedback and will be looking to reflect on this over the coming weeks to make next year’s EXPO even better. Thank you to everyone who attended and thank you for your invaluable feedback.

Dunhill Masters

On the 5th October, we hosted a well-attended Sustainability Breakfast talk at the Dunhill Masters. The weather did not deter a great event and thanks go to Ian Palmer from Inchdairnie Distillery and Dot Smith from Fife Council for their valuable contribution.

Behind The Scenes

We are looking forward to a ‘Behind the Scenes’ event at the fully renovated Adam Smith Theatre on the 18th October. Please see our website for further details.

Fife Social

Our next Fife Social will be on the 26th October at the Carnegie Library and Galleries. All details are on the website.

Our ‘International training workshops’ continued with our penultimate event in our series successfully delivered on Tuesday 10th October. The final workshop will be online and will be ‘Inward and Outward Processing’ and this takes place on Tuesday 7th November. There are a few places still remaining on the course so feel free to register your attendance.

Tri-Chamber Event - Dundee

On the 27th September 2023, we held a sell-out tri-chamber networking event. This is a joint Chamber event with Dundee and Perth Chambers.

Our Membership continues to grow on a monthly basis and I am delighted to see many of our Members both old and new at the recent EXPO and Dunhill events.

Please do get in touch if you have feedback on how we are helping you and your business or how we can help you connect and make your business prosper.
