Fife Chamber events play a prominent role in Fife Business Week

12th October 2022

Fife Business Week takes place from 7th to 11th November, with events taking place across Fife.

Topics as diverse as bookkeeping, sustainability and employment law are included. A Meet the Buyer event will let local businesses discuss contract and supply chain opportunities with public and private sector buyers at which Fife Chamber staff members, Yvonne Hannah, Membership Executive, Paul Sykes, Membership Executive, Morag Durie, International Trade Executive and DYW Business Engagement Executive Amanda Liddell will be in attendance.

Two Fife Chamber events are included in the programme. A Fife International: International Trade Pathway session on 8th November explains Rules of Origin, which are critical in allowing the export and import of goods. That is followed on the 10th by Fife Social, where Kingsbarns Distillery’s sustainability credentials will be on show as networking is combined with a memorable distillery tour.

Alan Mitchell, Chief Executive of Fife Chamber, said:

“I encourage every business to attend as many events as they can during Fife Business Week. There are lots of obstacles in the way of business success just now and while direct support from the UK and Scottish governments will help overcome them, businesses must seek their own solutions as well. There is no easier way to find an answer to a problem than to learn it from people who already have it, and that is why going to Fife Social is a simple and effective business improvement tool for everyone.”
