Poverty and inequality remain the biggest and most important challenge to Scotland’s health and the majority of health differences find their root cause in differences in wealth and income.

Being in good work is important in addressing health inequalities.

Paid work has the potential to protect health, and contribute to reducing health inequalities, by increasing incomes through earnings and by meeting important social and psychological needs.

Making small changes in the workplace environment can improve the health, safety and wellbeing of the workforce whilst reducing sickness absence and increasing culture, morale and productivity.

Fife's Workforce Health, Safety and Wellbeing Conference is on Friday 17th March 2023 at the Dean Park Hotel in Kirkcaldy.

It promises to be a day full of health, safety and wellbeing interaction and you can come along to hear from guest speakers, take part in activities and network with others - lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
