Hawkes Health makes its mark in Fife and becomes the latest Fife Chamber of Commerce Premier Partner

4th August 2021

Hawkes Health has become Fife Chamber’s latest Premier Partner, joining a group of companies who lead in their sector and use their business expertise to promote Fife as Scotland’s premier business location and support Fife Chamber as it represents Fife on the national and international stage.

From its roots as a leading provider of occupational hygiene services to the oil and gas industry, this family business is now a leader in health risk management. The firm offers one of the most comprehensive range of services in occupational health and hygiene to industrial and commercial businesses, both in the UK and worldwide.

Hawkes Health recently opened an occupational health centre in Dundee and plans to open a similar facility in Fife. Managing Director Michele Buckley recognises the strength of the manufacturing and industrial sector in Fife and has identified that an occupational health centre offering the full range of occupational health services will be a valuable asset to the area.

Fife Chamber of Commerce President Janet McIntyre said:

“I am extremely pleased and excited to welcome Hawkes Health as our latest Premier Partner. Hawkes Health is a multi-disciplinary health risk management consultancy specialising in occupational health and industrial hygiene for a variety of industries as well as being accredited health, safety and environmental management trainers to list but a few of the specialist services they can provide. They are leaders in what they do and consequently, are valued and well respected by their customers which are based in the UK and also around the world.

“Michele Buckley, Managing Director of Hawks Health is incredibly passionate about her business and has been the driver behind its success. Hawkes Health have demonstrated through the COVID pandemic their ability to pivot and adapt and to shift the focus of their business into new areas – occupational health services being one of them. This is also something that the Chamber has had first-hand experience of over the past 16 months, especially the inability to host in-person events. We have had to be proactive and adapt both the support and services offered to our members and how we deliver these.

We look forward to Hawkes Health engaging with and helping support our members here in Fife.”

Hawkes Health Managing Director, Michele Buckley, added: "Hawkes Health are looking forward to continuing our collaboration with the excellent Fife Chamber team and potentially supporting members and the wider business community in these very challenging times."
