Marjory raises vital funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland
Our very own Marjory Seath is taking things to a whole new height a week on Sunday and is abseiling off the Forth Rail Bridge! Marjory is facing her fear of heights to help raise vital funds for Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland in memory of her father who sadly passed away from suffering a heart attack and her granddad who suffered from several strokes.
Marjory explains that:
'Every day, 100,000 people in Scotland struggle to breathe because of a chronic chest illness - like my brother.
Every 55 minutes, someone in Scotland will have a heart attack - like my dad.
Every 45 minutes, someone in Scotland will have a stroke - like my grandad'
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland is an independent Scottish charity, whose aim is to improve the quality of life for people in Scotland after a stroke, or diagnosis of a chest or heart condition.
Marjory would be delighted if you could please take the time to sponsor her on her abseil by clicking on this link https://frboct18.everydayhero.com/uk/marjory and is grateful for any contributions to her cause.
Best of luck Marjory - we're all behind you 100%
