Members invited to Reservists’ military training
As a member of ChamberFORCE, Fife Chamber has been given access to a Reservists’ military training exercise taking place at Barry Buddon Training Area, Carnoustie, Angus, Dundee, DD7 7RY on Monday 18th of February.
This is a rare opportunity to see Reservists in action, demonstrating the skills and expertise which make them valuable employees in the civilian world. Visitors will witness several different training events including General Purpose Machine Gun Live Firing, Mortar Dry Drills and Counter Improvised Explosive Device Training.
Places are very limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Visitors are responsible for their own transport to and from the camp, and should arrive promptly for a 9.30 start. Please wear suitable footwear and warm outdoor gear.
Lunch will be provided, and visitors are free to leave after lunch, or remain on site until 15:00 to engage further with military personnel if desired.
Entrance to the camp is via the Monifieth entrance – under the railway line and turn left, following the road to Buddon. If you get lost, please phone Dai John on 07711 591634 for help!
To reserve a place at the event please email Michelle at [email protected]
